Today I’m talking about self belief.

It’s no walk in the park to change your relationship with alcohol. Not least because all these doubts crowd in about who you are, whether you’re doing the right thing and whether you’re ever going to achieve the results you desire. Especially if you’ve failed many times before.

When you have self belief you set more goals, take more action, face more risks, talk to more people, see into your future and believe beyond your current capability and capacity. It’s about having self-regard. About doing what you think is right and giving from a place of love, not obligation. It will affect all areas of your life. Understanding how it shows up in your life is an important first step.

Self belief isn’t something you’re born with or not. It’s not some innate skill that some have but which is denied to others. It’s practiced. This is excellent news, although it may not feel like that in the moment when you see people walking around oozing it. You might find yourself thinking: how do they do that? I’ve got you.

In this week’s episode I’ll cover what self-belief is, why so many of us don’t have it and five actionable steps to getting it back if you feel yours is lacking.
